Default Need more S12 help!

Posting this on here in the hope someone might reply before i get the chance to speak to Ant.

Ok, got another alternator for my S12 and the connectors are wrong

Basically what i want to know is has anybody else had this problem when finding an alternator for an s12 and is there someway of a. knowing this is the correct alternator and b. how can i change/bodge the connectors together?

Pics.....

This is the alternator im trying to fit and you can see the connectors are sort of hidden in the unit, whereas in the next picture you can see the connector on the car is meant to plug into something i.e not that hole on the alternator.

*Sorry for the lame ass explaination.

i'll check my spare harness but i think its a mk2 harness, your harness looks like a mk2, only trouble is i think i need that connector as well, but i think i already chopped it out and left it on the mk1, i'll check in a min, other than that you will pick a connector like that up from the scrappy on some old nissan, or there maybe someone on hear with an s12 breaking.

ok after looking, i think its the wrong size, but look at this, its a small relay that i think has the same connector.

the smaller one looks right, theres a small relay in your engine bay, check it with that.

It looks similar to the one on the left there!

Here's a pic...

I couldn't try and fit it into the alternator but it looks like it will fit perfectly!
So if you have a spare one that'd be great, i'll drop you a PM if you have.
