Default Radiator

Ok so im doing a little work under the bonnet and have got the chance of a volvo 850 radiator and fan setup for the silvia but there is no cap on the radiator like there is on the standard one and the expansion tank for it does not have a pressurised cap on it.

Does anyone know of one of these being fitted to an S12 previously?

What pressure does the standard cap on an S12 hold to?

Thanks
Dave

Hiya Dave,

The standard cap relief pressure is 0.88 bar (13 psi), according to the bible.

Hope this helps .

Regards,
Ian.

Thanks for the offer mate but im looking at this as an upgrade unit rather than a replacement since its a larger one and has built in switch for the electric fans.
It also goes rather well with the intercooler
