Default a warning about ebay exhausts

Anybody thinking about buying an s13 exhaust part, please beware of ebay sellers calling themselves xs power and selling stainless steel pipes with poor quality chrome plated mild steel flanges. If you buy 1 then you need your head examined!Don't be ripped off, choose anything other than xs power.

Thanks for the warning, I`ve been looking at their exhaust parts recently myself.

I take it you`ve had problems then ? .

Regards,
Ian.

i have run a xs power also known as ss autochrome manifold and turbo down pipe for a couple of years and have not had any problems what so ever.

When they first started out they had a lot of problems due to them using stainless pipe but for the flanges they used mild steel so after a time of use they cracked. They now make them both out of stainless to fix the problem.

I know people that have run performance mild steel manifolds on s13's and have spent most of the time having them welded back together after they keep cracking........

Also you get what you pay for when using things like that, they are the cheapest on the market and are even cheaper when bought direct from the states

the s13 downpipe that i recieved had rusty mild steel flanges as did the decat,i'll take some pictures tomorrow and post them.i was looking at a manifold suplied by them as well which had mild steel flanges for an s14.They might be cheap but they aren't made entirely of stainless steel either.Have a good look at their feedback before you buy!
