In the picture below are my 2 clutch friction plates. The one on the left is an exedy and the one on the right is the one that has just come off my old engine. There both in reasonable condition and worth using. The one on the right never slipped once and has done really well......but what is it?
It has an extra 2 friction plate springs and has no nissan stamping on it. ![]()

Just found this on google, looks like i may have an ap racing clutch.

Its in my baby now Shaun............. Hasnt slipped yet. Give me 2 weeks(once im chipped and t3'd up) and we will see......

Your turbo has such a big kick on it though from when i went in it. It comes in late but when it does there isnt much spool up time at all.
Any ideas on Adz clutch shaun? Im sure you must of tried a fair few? His old clutch really handled abuse well so he is temted to keep that one even though we know the exedy is a good clutch. Unfortunaly both are of the same second hand (but with good life left in them) condition so its just preferance
