Default Reverse Lights

Any ideas where I can put reverse lights ? I don't really want to dick about with the tail-light clusters and I don't want to hang a light off the rear bumper 'cos it'll look cack. I'd like something that is more or less invisible when not in use. I was thinking maybe daytime-running-light style led strips in the bumper rubbing strips ?

True, but I could do with having them when manuvering into my lock-up plus it irks having unemployed wiring knoicking about by the light clusters.

Peter I really like those lights.

Anyway, I'm assuming that your reverse light is white also? My only guess since you are a MKII setup like me, maybe wire a custom setup to one square and somehow change the colour to white/clear but that would be a lot of work. For something simple and clean... The bumper is the best place I can see. Sorry mate. Didnt think the whole project would create this much of a fuss.

Once my car gets back from the body shop I can do the swap. Right now the number plate holder is getting cleaned. I have to take the metal trim piece to get painted to matching black. So it may be a little while. Trying to coordinate all of that with the engine in addition to working on the 944. Hasnt been done in about 3 years so I'm paying to have it get a good ground base then I'll do the maintenance from now on.
