Default Saturdays S12 Missions

I worked an extra 2 hours after work on friday and saturday morning so that i could get my car performing. I finished my external wastegate and re plumbed it.It now is running 14/15psi.I have my electronic boost controller at home waiting to go in and raise it to 17/18psi. I also fitted new manifold and t3 turbo gasket along with a a different turbo that was of a 4x4 cosworth sierra(t3).

Made a new mandrel bent downpipe after that and took it for a spin. Im completely made up. The car is so smooth in its power curve and is scarily fast already around the twisty lanes near my work. A decent power can now be found between 4000 and 6500rpm.

I then went back to work and along with Brad and Adz sprayed Brads silvia. Very succsessfull day. i was aching all over last night it felt like i was coming down with something but better today. I guess ive been taking it easy too much over the last month and am not used to it .

I will tweak the car a little more over the course of the next week and then put it on the Rolling Road

yeah mechanically its really really close to being finished. I just need to plug my chipped ecu in and fit the boost controller. Next is the brakes. Martin sourced me some pads and ive got the grooved diss to go on.So one more mornings work and then im done . Will just need to look after it and maintain it. I expect a few things will go wrong and break, hopefully not too often though. I took Gary(guy with mr2 at jae) out in it last night and he got rather scared at its acceleration so that made me smile too

I fitted those pads today and before they've even bed in I instantly noticed how much better they are then the standard nissan pads. I can defo do the Romford ring road and the Bramble Lane sprints with more late braking confidence.

I actually can't believe what I did as well. I refitted my 17's on the back after blowing them up at xmas. Looked at the car and thought it just had to be washed. Its probably the dirtiest car I've seen in ages. You couldn't differentiate the black strip on the rear bumper from the red. It was all black. It hadn't been washed since September a few weeks before the smash. Anyway 2 buckets later and its clean.
This aerial shot taken space doesn't really show quite how dirty the old cow was:

Well i whipped a vfr motorbike this morning with no problems and am currently changing into 5th gear at somewhere between 140-150mph. Ive had it right off the clock this evening with no troubles at all. Im loving it too bits.Im just waiting for there to be some rain . Im taking it round Dunsfold friday afternoon(where top gear use btw) which should be great too. I wish i still had my video fone...
