Default Progress on Wacomuk's Turbo manifold

I'm done about 70% of the pipe work. I should be done tacking it together tomorrow. here is what I have done so far. It's a bottom mount with the turbo sitting close to the same spot as with the stock manifold. It should be able to fit any T28 no matter how big the compressor is.

Seems like you really have got the hang of making them now.

Woah thats top stuff. Is that Turbo definatly going to clear the inner wing?.
Im guessing there will be additional bracing from the tubby flange to the engine somewhere...Very impressed

It does look a bit large, can't it be made smaller?

Surely that turbo will be close to the inner wing. It might be hard to put a pipe on it being so close, unless the compressor is rotated down or something.

How much will this end up costing wacomuk?

It will fit with a 2" gap between the manifold and side wing. This is the smallest I can make it with the bends I have. It will cost him £223.51 shipped.

Thats pretty cheap...

Will the turbo need rotating then?

Will you be fitting a brace?

With the 2" clearance will this be an issue with the engine moving on its mounts? My downpipe sometimes hits the firewall, but the engine moves anticlockwise due to the torque reaction ie moves the turbo away from the wing, but it might come back the other way under hard engine braking.
