Default Help me determin this outlet,ca18et

On the back of the head on the inlet side I have an inch hole with a thread in it
What goes in it.?

The head? Or the top of the inlet manifold?

Cause I'm sure theres people on here thinking the same as I am!

At the back of the head there is a sort of plate bolted to the head and there is like an inch threaded hole like a water outlet? I just need to know if I can block it up

isn't it summet to do with water cooling, i'am sure some countries run water down the back of the plenum as some have a recess on the plenum that can be plated over, probably me got it wrong,

It's not on the plenum it's on like a cover on the back of the head with a threaded hole. It's on the spare engine I have also

yeah i know what you mean ,its like a small hose fitting on the back of the head,i was just saying that some of the plenums have a water matrix cast into them,

I think you are talking about the EGR outlet. if its an import engine exhaust gasses will come out of it. if its a uk spec engine nothing come out

take a pic if you can
