Default turbo oil feed

i have asked this before, but not many people saw it.

i am just wondering bout somin with my turbo oil feed pipe.

i have a s12 mk1 engine with the long pipe that runs round the engine bay, i had to replace this pipe with a made up one after it fractured, i have now got about 2 inch each end of the original pipe, and braided pipe between, now i have seen that on the mk2 where the feed comes from the block is a small union block that has a small restrictor hole in it, obviously i know my current long pipe doesnt have any restrictor in it, and am wondering if the oil smell that im sure is seal leak from the turbo, is because i have no restrictor in the feed, has anyone got the long feed pipe they could look at for me, and tell me if the join that is round the back of the head has a restrictor in it.

im really desperate to find this out, so any info obtained will be most welcomed.

Cheers.
