2 x 12" pacet fans..

Hey guys,

So i ask at my local auto parts place and they quote me 106 pounds for two 12 inch pacet fans... that seems expensive to me, how much would they normally go for?

That sounds about right. You wont need a pair though. A single pacet 12 will work fine

Hi Dan

I have pacet Electric fans on both my S12 & S13, as Nissan wanted about £250 for the Viscous fan. I got mine from Demon Tweeks, cost about £95. One does the trick nicely.
The ones I fitted are the full diameter of the Rads. I'd go for the separate fan & inline hose thermal switch(which is about £40) if I were you. You get a more powerful fan this way. The Kits are Ok (which is what I fitted to my S12) & though the fan is adequate, it seams a bit wimpy compared to the one I fitted to my S13. Also I am not to keen on the thermal switch that comes with the kit. It is a separate unit that has a probe which just inserts into the top hose. Dose the job but I will be changing it.
