Default Radiator

i was wondering
1)does the s13 radiator fit the s12
2)will it make any difference in performance or ruin the engines ruinning if you use a smaller rad
3)does the AC system interfere with the IC fitting and plumbing
just wondering coz when i start this side of the modding i want to make sure i get all the right bits and also install the setup as it would have come from the factory neat and tidy

Yes the s13 radiator fits fine. I use one.

It depends what intercooler you want to fit. I know richard kimberly has an intercooler and has kept his air con.

If you do fit an S13 rad an S13 owner may well buy your S12 rad off you. In fact if you find someone in the know they may pay both sets of postage to swap

Personally for the small amount of extra space you'll gain I'd be tempted to stick with the standard S12 rad, especially if you're going to mount an FMIC in front of it. You could fit some electric fans and remove the viscous one if space is that tight

the reason for the s13 rad was coz there are alot more race spec aluminum rads available and it will look nice and bling for the neat setup with a new IC
pukka do you know which IC RK is using

What ever you do is a compromise as you can't have everything in the front AC would be the least important thing IMO but it's not big enough and shouldn't get hot enough to make any real difference

true as i have tried taking the ac system out from a previous s12 and its a nightmare so i will be leaving this one in and will have to have the ac behind it
