have you had the dash out???

when i had mine out a short time ago, i think the electrics for the illumination are from a wire that goes into the back of a bulb, that plugs in the back of the dash to power the rest, im sure that bulb that carries the power is the one that illuminates the oil press and temp gauges, you may just have a bad connection there.

Yes ive had the clocks out and i know the bulb with the single black wire running to it that youve mentioned so il check on that bulb and wiring too it

That black wire that has the bulb on it that plugs into the back of the clocks, the other end goes to that little black thing by the ignition barrel??

If so ive changed that particualr bulb and still no difference

have you tried bleeding the brakes. .
