Ah got you. i didnt realise the parts were the isue ![]() I was thinking of running stock internals, puting a boost control, uprated fuel pump, straight through exhaust, colder plugs, uprated clutch, tubular manifold and maybe a bigger turbo on, and winding the boost up ![]() Winding the boost up on a set of rollers that is, so we can monitor the fueling ![]() Wouldnt that give me 250+bhp then?? im still in the thinking of a gtir lol |

turn what upto? the boost or the power. It depends what you class as too many mods really. But i would say an et engine with everything done to it other than custom cam profiles, nitrous is about 350bhp/
S13eaters 8v engine was over 305bhp. Get the car and go one step at a time. First off get a 2 3/4" or 3" straight through exhaust system for it. That should flow enough for your future power aims

i meant what psi could i turn it upto without doing any major mods.
Ie: just putting i/c, zhaust, induction, fuel pump, colder plugs and boost controller on. On a gtir, you can put all of that on and wind it upto 1.2bar (320bhp) without having to have aditional engine management, ecu etc Like you say thou, get the car first and then work upto it ![]() I will know a lot more about it, when i have it sat inront of me ![]() |
