Most mk2 s12's didnt even have the door card light function, They were merely there as reflectors

My s12 must be a "posh one" then
. Because the lights in my door cards do work . Or at least they did the last time I put a battery on her .Regards, Ian.

my door cards have lights too, they worked up untill a few weeks ago, i know they have +12v coz i have little flashing LEDs in the top of the cards to look like alarm (previous owner put them on) and they still work, so i just gotta trace a break somewhere.

Good luck finding the break. Personally, I would rather change a gearbox than fault find electrics
. Wiring can be a real nightmare, I hate electrics....LOL.....I`m pretty sure that the wires leading to the door card lights have a conduit though, so the break might be further back in the system. S13eater are your lights working now ? We must have jinxed them, with talikng about them ...LOL...Regards, Ian.
