it's your idle air regulator. mine does the same thing. it won't affect anything

I just find a faulty air reg used to stop it idling fast when cold as I assume they get all gunged up.

could it be anything to do with the iaa unit, as that is supposed to ramp the revs up when you switch the lights and other electrics on.

No fault codes, already fitted new ht leads. spark plugs etc......... no point geting emmisions as the turbo smokes abit on idle, one of my mates reckons its the fuel reg, im still stumped.

Wild stab in the dark, but have you tired bleeding the coolant system, not sure how the cold start/auto choke works, but on old honda's, bubbles in the coolant would cause it to hunt on idle.
