No, just press the pedal once then release it. On the auto the kickdown switch is under the accelerator pedal. The TPS on the auto has an extra plug underneath it.
I have seen the same TPS on the Nissan Sunny and that has all three contacts wired up. |

the pin that isnt used is for full open throttle, and the plug used for the auto is a variable output tps as used for all good engine management systems but all this is irrelevant

SR20 auto's have the 3rd pin for kick down, thats all my question was based on...

It works!
Just press the accelerator completly, hold it like 5/7 seconds during the check procedure! Really smoother now ![]() Thanks guys ![]() |
