Default My new project - S12 powered 323

Picked up this little Mazda 323 RWD (looks like a starlet) last week from the Darlington area...needs a fair bit of work but we are getting there. Fitted with an S12 engine, box and escort steering rack conversion...have plans for it- lol.

Not many of these about !

Unsuspecting little sleeper !

S12 1.8 turbo engine fitted

S12 front seats fitted

As ever loads of work to do for Johny boy - lol!!

Yours

Default Running issue ?

HI,

When I got the car it was a non runner but I have got it going...there are a couple of issues if anyone can help...the car wont start unless you "crimp" the fuel return pipe (to the fuel tank) at the injection manifold...I think fuel pressure valve or injector rail...anyone any other ideas ?

So for I have changed the fuel pump for a bigger S12 version but it made no difference ?

If the fuel return pipe is blocked of the turbo does not boost so it would appear that it needs to be this way

Any help appreciated.

Thanks
Stephanie
