i run DET forged pistons and Pauter steel DET rods in an ET engine, along with Autosprint cam.
DET is easy power i guess (if you can find one that isnt shagged), but 8v i still worth a look in my opinion ![]()

Im with you all the way, 8v is my personal choice as i have made too many bits to warrant going for a DET conversion. Plus i have a spare 8v engine to bolt in if things go completely tits up! bought some forged pistons now, awaiting delivery so block can be bored to suit!
