Default Need some help with wheels and tyres

Howdy if youve read my previous posts ive been looking for a set of wheels for my silvia i know its a 4 x 114 pcd and et is how far it sits in or pokes out..? but whats the maximum i could use?
ive found the wheels but the fitting is 4 x 114 et 10 16 x 8

Will these clear the arches on a car running no spacers and lowered no more 40 mm? what would be the size of tyre to buy to fit these? profile wise?

Thanks

M.T

Might be a touch sticky-outy (so to speak heh) and will probably catch the arches on the rear. They also on the big side tbh. I would think smething like a 205/5516 will be somewhat stretched but do-able, a 225 would sit better but you'd need a very low profile. Something like 225/40 16 - not so cheap, more than most 17s. Only way to know is try it.

For the record 205/50 16 on a 7' rim is perfect for an S12.

I have 215 45 17 on mine with the suspension lowered with no clearance issues and no spacers needed.

Depends on how much power and torque you are trying to put down to be fair.
