ok cool well i pulled the plug off afm and it stalled.
wound in the screw on the afm a bit no real change.

I have not pulled codes yet was going to look tomorrow i think.

not sure whether it will give me codes properly as the loom has been cut and shut. ill try anyway.

I have pulled a plug and its very black/sooty and i have connected a pressure guage to the fuel and it shows just over 2 bar so thats ok.

Would a water temp sensor cause this also and does it have a cold start injector??

Temp sensor is a common-ish fault of DET rich running, and can be tested with the info in the WSM,

It has a cold start valve located under the throttle body.
