No, because it doesn't have a backbox.

MOT regulations require silencers.

EDIT - Bit vague there sorry. They check the overall condition of the systems, major leaks, if anything is missing and check the effectiveness of the exhaust to ana average level

I'm hoping to convince them that the one in the centre section is adequate. It's up to the MOT tester to decide if the car is excessively loud or not and it's really not that bad!

If it get's through an MOT it'll be a bargain! The whole lot (not including shipping) cost £40!

Took less than half an hour to fit too!

Mine has no centre box and next to no back box and at the last MOT the teaster said it had to be be no loud than a comparable car and as he didn't have another Silvia to teast it against it passed, so it is up to the individual teaster and weather he's in a good mood or not.

That's cool then. I'll just make sure that I take it to the right place when I have it test. There's a couple of sensible testers round my way so fingers crossed it'll be alright!
