Thanks mate. Should have seen it when we picked it up Total mess!! Unfortunatly I had to sell up last year, but i'm working on something new!

The paint job was fine for a £50 hammerite attack but the guys are right, it didn't look good up close (Hence the Monet reference!). At the end of the day you need to think what you want. A cheep paint job that looks alright from 30 feet or something that is a bit more showy!

cool. i know i wont get a shiny finish with rattle cans but at the moment i have streaky matt black bonnet cos it was too hot when i sprayed it and the remaining red is actually matt pink with black overspray unless i spend 2 hours with colour polish after every wash.

i would get it done properly but if i had the cash for that then i wouldn't be driving a £170 car

wont go and spray it on a whim though cos even though i'm not after a showy finish i still want it to look ok close up. cheers for your inputs though, great help.
