Angry Would you believe it???

I ordered an alternator 3 weeks ago, they rang me back later on and said it was being shipped over from Denmark. After countless visits it turned up today!!! WOOHOO!!!!

Totally different alternator though, some mip mop had but a different alternator in the right box and thats the only one they had!

To say I'm p ssed off is an understatement!

Comparing the old one to a S13 200sx one to see if it will fit, anyone else tried this????

Cheers,

Dave AKA Happy Bunny

I've got

Single grooved pulley(used)
Dual grooved pulley (used)
Double "V" pulley (new)

Sorry, I don't which cars they're from. I think the double V will be the one. ???

Why

It's simple

The first pulleys are wider and have some grooves across them
The second are V-shaped.

Will get pics on Friday

Part numbers for grooved pulley alternators are
23100-35f10
23100-D4410

The new one is Unipart GXE2403 - 258 769 (if it helps)

Mines a mk2 and part number is:-

23100 12C11 but they struggled to find it with this
A2T02394B is the mitsubishi number and order it off that, all checks out in there book.

it's 12v 70A and a 2 pin plug.

With the 200sx one I'm pretty sure it's multi vee like mine but just concerned that it might not line the belts up and kepp throwing them off, taking the power steering with it.

I've brought the old alternator in to work today on the bus and will get a lift up to the 'Electrical Specialist' after work and to top it off the misses wants to go late night shopping tonight
