Cheers, I fitted a new set of pattern part leads a couple of years ago but I will try a genuine set from Nissan...looked on the ngk website is it worth fitting iridium plug equivalent to the bcpr7e ?

I cleaned the loop terminals back to bright copper on the alternator and engine earth straps when i was changing my head and clutch over and it's been perfect since ..so might be worth doing :)

That's interesting, looks like the shop sold me the wrong/faulty alternator. I suggested this but the owner started mumbling about faulty relays so i left it. Strange thing is it charges the battery...
