what about if the water temp sensor, don't they run rich if its reading the engine as cold.or maybe the air flow meter, have you got spares to swap about ?and every so often mine will flood first thing in the morning, all that i do is take the plug off of the water temp sensor and it fires up.

over the years ive had dodgy distrib/distrib cap and poor earth to coil. cranked fine and injectors primed fine, but weak/no/intermittent spark so smelt and looked like overfulleing when was actually undersparking lol

HI,

We have checked for feed at injectors and found both terminals to be constantly live and not pulsing.....what gives them the signal to fire ?

The ECU is what sends the signal out. Beyond that, I am sure these chaps would know better. I dont get how only a couple will be firing constantly while others wont when you trace the wiring back and they all feed off the same couple of wires from the ECU from my knowledge.

i think they have an ignition live, and pulse the earth, im sure i read that on here somewhere.

**EDIT** according to the manual, thay have a permanent live, and the earth is pulsed, not ignition live. (but still the same in the end )

Actually thats normal to see voltage at both terminals, as they're paired parallel, thats why there's 2 earth wires. If you unplug all the other injectors you will only see one terminal with voltage on each plug.
