Seen as this thread has been hijacked already I'm going tohiack it for a mini-rant. WHy the hell can't I find a machine shop that an be arsed to make up a couple of brackets and slot those holes ? None of them seemingly can be arsed. How do these run a business with that kind of attitude ?

i think i'll just slot both sides, then weld the original holes up, i've got the z31 rear end now.

that's small businesses mate - i work for an engine specialist in clubman motorsport and the attitude is very much the same. it shocked me coming from a corporate background but as time has gone on it's become understandable - at the end of the day little things like that are too much time and effort for such a small return.

the thickness of the top and bottom of the bushes is 15mm the top, and 17mm the bottom as i have the same set unfitted.

just find a small one/two man band welders in your area. Some place like a Railing or fabricators
