I was more concerned about the bottom, as the injector pockets on the CA18ET seem to bolt in, where as the CA18DET they slide in? And the fuel rail holds them in....

Temp sensor is a common-ish fault of DET rich running, and can be tested with the info in the WSM,

It has a cold start valve located under the throttle body.
